CUSU Green: Go Greener! petition form

We the undersigned support the Go Greener! campaign and call on Cambridge University and the Colleges to take a global leading role in promoting sustainability and tackling climate change.

(see the University and Colleges pages for more detailed explanations of these aims)

In particular, we call on the University to commit to

  1. Ambitious emissions reduction targets,
  2. Developing a comprehensive plan to achieve these targets,
  3. Promoting sustainable development within teaching and research, and
  4. Establishing a high-level post to promote sustainability.

We call on the Colleges to commit to

  1. Signing the Cambridge Climate Change Charter;
  2. Establishing environmental committees, policies and officers;
  3. Having an energy audit;
  4. Ambitious emissions reduction targets; and
  5. Developing comprehensive plans to achieve these targets.
